Dato’ Sri Thomas Hah Tiing Siu offers scholarships to 210 students, benefiting and encouraging Fuzhou children to study hard

Education is crucial, regardless of financial status. The Chinese saying has empowered countless students to succeed. By valuing education, children gain knowledge, work hard, and achieve their goals.

This year, the association awarded the 2018 “Dato’ Sri Thomas Hah Tiing Siu” scholarship, worth over RM30,000, to encourage members’ children to excel academically. Sponsored by entrepreneur Dato’ Sri Thomas Hah Tiing Siu, 210 eligible students from various levels received the scholarship. Requirements included being in the top three rankings or maintaining a grade average of 80 and above.

The recipients are all exceptional, and even those who narrowly missed the criteria receive encouragement from the association for next year’s award ceremony.
